The Lumineers

The Lumineers are a folk rock band from Denver, Colorado. The band's two founders and songwriters are Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion). They started making music when Jeremiah's brother, and Wesley's best friend, died of a drug overdose in 2002. In 2010, cellist and vocalist Neyla Pekarek joined the band by responding to an ad on Craigslist. In 2012, pianist Stelth Ulvang and bassist Ben Wahamaki officially joined the band. In the Netherlands they are best known for the hit 'Ho Hey'.
