Tame Impala is a psychedelic band from Australia, Perth. The five band members would like to introduce the world to melodies that resemble dreams. The band was founded in 2007 and since then they have released quite a few songs. Their first studio album, Innerspeaker, was released in 2010. The band's name also carries a meaning that has to do with the music. For example, 'impala' stands for an antelope, an animal that can appear wild, but can also be civilized.
