The English band Marillion has grown into a well-oiled prog rock machine that effortlessly maintains the tension even during epic songs of seventeen minutes. With 44 years on the counter, the band is now miles away from the eighties hits (Kayleigh, Incommunicado) with which they broke through, but Marillion is still relevant. For example, the five gentlemen still tour regularly, released the new album An Hour Before It's Dark in 2022 and no less than two live albums.
