Pinkpop Festival 2024

Pinkpop, the Netherlands' oldest and best-known pop festival, first took place in 1970 on Whit Monday 18 May in Geleen. The name 'Pinkpop' comes of course from 'Pop met Pentecost' and the festival is usually organized during the Whitsun weekend, with the exception of the editions in 2008, 2010, 2013, 2015 and 2016. The festival was initially a one-day festival but grew into a multi-day happening in Geleen, Baarlo (once) and later finally Landgraaf. The festival has now become an integral part of the Dutch festival scene.
